Last week, our Spanish Culture & Cuisine seminar visited a local kitchen where we got to make paella and crema catalana (the local dessert we know as creme brulee). Students learned about some of the history of these dishes, and then shared the duties to prepare ingredients, cook them, and clean up. Afterwards, students delighted in eating their creations!
