Our second day in the beautiful city of Barcelona was filled with many fun activities. Students began their day by meeting with their teachers for their major seminar. In my case, as an international business student, I discussed articles and walked to an interesting cafe while discussing everything the class entails. Everybody did different activities depending on the major they chose. As 2 PM rolled around, we traveled in groups heading out to lunch at delicious restaurants around the city.
For our afternoon activity, we split up into groups for an epic scavenger hunt to explore the city. We were told the winning team wins an amazing prize; evidently it boosted everybody’s motivation to get going. This scavenger hunt consisted of different tasks varying in difficulty. One task even allowed students to buy some refreshing gelato on their way to the finish line.

Alongside gelato, another task was to walk to the Arc de Triomf; a magnificent monument in the city.

Despite the fact that my team didn’t win, the scavenger hunt was an extremely memorable experience. We looked for clues together, explored together, and got lost and found again together. This is just one look into one of the many fun activities we did today.
To end the night, students had to decide whether to go to the beach or attend a flamenco performance. Our first full day in Barcelona was a memorable one with fun activities to start our trip!
