Catherine’s Spanish seminar went to the historic modernist complex of the former Hospital de Sant Pau, constructed in 1902. It’s hard to believe, but there’s a large modern hospital attached to these amazing buildings.

The Photo and Media team delved into post-production work, meticulously editing and refining the captured footage. Each student took a moment to reflect in their journals, capturing their thoughts and impressions of their project. With their creative energies recharged, they eagerly prepared for an exciting afternoon photo shoot at Gaudi Park Guell, anticipating the vibrant colors and architectural marvels that awaited them.

Sara’s students visited the Museu d’Història de Catalunya. They embarked on a captivating journey through Catalonia’s rich past, delving into its fascinating history, culture, and heritage. Business and Entrepreneurship
In the lively business and entrepreneurship seminar, participants engaged in a spirited brainstorming session centered around the question, “How do I sell more?” Ideas flowed freely as students shared strategies such as optimizing marketing campaigns. The seminar students also visited the most famous flea market in Barcelona “Mercats dels Encants”. They had to buy stuff based on a specific budget and they came up with a business idea using what they bought!

Fashion and Culture
Fashion and Culture students remained focused on sustainability in fashion on today’s adventure. We took a journey to Mercat dels Encants de Barcelona, the famous flea market where all types of trash and treasure can be found. The assignment is to source an inanimate object (with a set €€ budget), deconstruct it and then use the parts to remake an accessory to go with their final project “looks” – immersed with the locals, the students are having a hilarious time expanding their imaginations and developing ideas that are outside the box.
