Today Emily’s seminar group took a wonder to the Gothic quarter to check out the Barcelona Cathedral. The Gothic Quarter in Barcelona is a mesmerizing labyrinth of narrow streets, medieval buildings, and hidden squares, immersing visitors in the rich history and architectural charm of the city. The cathedral has incredible soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass windows, and ornate details.

Art and Architecture students visited the incredible masterpiece that is Casa Batllo, designed by the celebrated architect Antoni Gaudí. Casa Batlló was built in the early 20th century and is characterized by its distinctive façade, which resembles a colorful and dragon or a skeletal structure.

Fashion and Culture
Fashion and Culture students took to the streets of BCN today to check out the street style of the city! They were given a project to speak with locals about their style, what inspired them to choose their outfit for the day and then document the local fashion with blog style photos. They even had the opportunity to practice their Spanish as they got to discover local fashion and style!
