Hello friends!
Happy Thursday from the blog. We have some fun, exciting updates to share with you!

The business ladies are feeling energized after a necessary coffee run! Yesterday they started brainstorming ideas to develop for their final project presentations. Some of the topics they discussed were the pros and cons of increasing wages, how the urban planning of Barcelona is conducive to its economic growth, and the impact of tourism on the Spanish economy.

Art & Architecture learned more about how Gaudí used mosaics from recycled tiles in his buildings and sculptures.

Then they tried their own hand at a mosaic creation!

Catherine’s Spanish Language seminar created and shared “micro cuentos” or short stories inspired by their experiences in Barcelona so far. Students created imaginative scenarios, like the return of Salvador Dali and his wife/muse/collaborator Gala, as well as the emergence of a mysterious, dragon-like creature from the sea, over coffee by the beach!

Back at the residence.

An intense game of cards back at the residence during some down time!

Last but not least, we have Harper and his well earned minion piñata.
