Fashion and Culture

Fashion and Culture students visited a sewing studio today to work on a design as part of their final project! Using the garments they thrifted, the students cut them up to deconstruct and then reconstruct into a minimalist square top design. Estelle at Costuretas Social Club guided the students through the steps for taking measurements, creating a pattern on their fabrics and then sewing the pieces together! It was so much fun and Noos, the studio dog, provided much support to these aspiring designers!

Emily’s Spanish seminar students eagerly immerse themselves in the language, practicing their speaking skills with local vendors at the Flea Market. You can see them here in a leisurely stroll along the Arc de Triomf.

Photo and Media students took time from taking pictures to enjoy two shows at the Barcelona Photo Center. Amazing show with pictures from Edward Weston and Tina Modotti. During their time they saw wonderful and inspiring photos.

Art and Architecture

Sara’s seminar students visited the MOCO (Modern Contemporary Museum), to find inspiration in the fusion of innovative design and thought-provoking art. They engage in passionate discussions, analyzing the intricate details and conceptual depth of each exhibit, expanding their understanding of the interplay between creativity and societal narratives.

Business and Entrepreneurship

Business & entrepreneurship seminar students spents an exciting day at the Camp Nou, the renowned Barcelona stadium to have a tour at the museum. After this they enjoyed a lecture with a staff member of the Barcelona team!
