Spanish Culture & Language and Art & Architecture joined forces today to visit Casa Batlló, one of Gaudi’s Crown Jewels and a UNESCO World Heritage sight. This was an opportunity for students to get to see some Catalan Art nouveau!

Audio guides helped the group understand Gaudi’s unique style and connection to nature.

After exploring the house they ventured off to barrio Eixample, or to Barcelona’s well known Boqueria Market to have lunch and do a little shopping.
