We’re bringing the focus to our boss ladies who make up the Business and Entrepreneurship seminar on the blog today!

Pictured above we have our six seminar students in La Rambla, one of Barcelona’s most popular and “touristy” destinations. The plan of action for class that morning? To arrive at La Rambla early, before the neighborhood’s normal chaos usually starts, and be on the lookout for any tourist traps. The goal in mind was to see if any of the businesses encountered could survive as sustainable, long term business models, and what was just a scam. Talk about using your street smarts!

Business students also got to enjoy a visit to MACBA, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona.

To end the day, we have our lovely Program Director, Karim, and Business and Fashion leaders Kuba and Ben conducting community meeting, which happens nightly from 8:00-8:45pm. During this time, students have the opportunity to talk about their highs and lows of the day, go over any questions about scheduling, and choose upcoming activities and dinner groups.
